Associate Trainers/ Assessors

Business Admin, Customer Services and Hospitality
 

Due to continued expansion KYP are looking for qualified and experienced Trainers/Assessors to join our team as Associates. This exciting role will see you planning and delivering to individuals and groups of learners working towards their L1/L2 and higher level qualifications / Apprenticeships in Business Administration, Customer Service and Hospitality. This position will allow you to draw on your experience of the sector to provide professional assessment and support to learners in class or workplace, enabling them to realise their career potential.

You will contribute to the day to day design and delivery of learning programmes and assessment of a caseload of learners to enable them to successfully achieve the apprenticeship framework through close liaison with their employers.

You will have passion, boundless energy, enthusiasm and a desire to maintain the highest standards in supporting learners and ensuring they achieve.

As a Trainer/Assessor you will:

  • Have occupational experience working in the relevant industry.
  • Be able to deliver qualifications in relevant subject
  • Be able to deliver Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT
  • Be self motivated, able to work on a caseload autonomously and have demonstrable experience of managing caseloads of 35-40 learners.
  • Ensure quality assurance is maintained in observations and client portfolios.
  • Undertake assessment and review in line with agreed and documented standards, systems and strategies.
  • Monitor learners’ progression and ensure assessment is completed in time to enable achievement of all aspects of their programme/qualification.

Requirements:

  • A1, D32/33 Qualified.
  • Educated to at least Level 3.
  • Hold Teaching Qualification - PTTLS, DTTLS, PGCE, CertEd .
  • Experience of delivering qualifications in relevant subject, full apprenticeships, and functional skills.

Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
