Skills Support for the Workforce

Kashmir Youth Project (KYP) is working in partnership with Manchester College to deliver the Skills Support for the Workforce programme, funded by the SFA and the ESF, to people within Greater Manchester who are currently working or engaged in voluntary work. This exciting new project also aims to support SME businesses to up-skill their workforce, enabling them to provide better services to their customer and clients.

For the employer - This free training will help boost the skills of your staff and provide them with the confidence and ability to deliver services to a higher standard.

For the employee/volunteer - If you are an employee or a volunteer working a minimum of 8 hours a week, and would like to attain a qualification to accompany the experience you are gaining then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

KYP will provide training in the following subjects:

Level 1 Award in Customer Service
Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service
Level 1 Award in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care
Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Level 1 Certificate in Caring for Children
Level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People’s Workforce
Level 2 Certificate in Business Administration
Level 2 Diploma in Food Service
Level 2 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service

Applicants must be 19+ to qualify for this funded qualification.
