The Afghan Refugee Family Support Project covers Rochdale, Bolton, Bury, Oldham and Manchester. The Project is aimed at supporting and befriending Afghan refugees who have recently come into the UK. We offer a tailor made service, providing group and one to one support in all areas of life to help integration into British society.
Our aim is to help support Afghan refugee individuals and families integrate into British society. Our key workers will work closely with the family or individual to help with:
-Housing
-Benefits
-Education
-Integration
-Any other help for settlement in the UK.
We also offer free English speaking classes across Manchester (non-accredited). This will enable refugees to learn basic English phrases and dialogues to help with day to day life.
