Live Well with Cancer Support Hub
A welcoming place for anyone affected by cancer.
About the Live Well with Cancer Support Hub
A cancer diagnosis can affect so much more than your physical health. It can bring worries about treatment, finances, family, work, relationships, your emotional wellbeing and what life looks like now and in the future.
The Cancer Support Hub is a local, welcoming space where people affected by cancer can find information, practical help, emotional support and connections to services in the community.
What support is available?
The hub brings together a range of support to help you look after your physical, emotional and practical wellbeing.
You can find:
- Someone to talk to – a friendly, safe space to talk about how you’re feeling and meet other people affected by cancer.
- Talking therapies and emotional support – helping you manage worries, anxiety and the emotional impact of cancer.
- Holistic therapies – opportunities to relax and support your overall wellbeing.
- Practical advice and support – including help with finances, benefits and other everyday concerns.
- Keeping active and healthy – information and support to help you stay active and look after your health.
- Healthy eating and living well – practical advice about nutrition and making positive changes during and after cancer.
- Health and wellbeing checks – including blood pressure checks.
- Support for family members and carers – because cancer can affect the people around you too.
The hub brings together health and wellbeing professionals, partner organisations and community services, working collaboratively to provide a range of support in one place.
